Last updated Nov 3, 2026. Specs checked against Tesla's pages that day.

Tire and wheel specs for the 2021+ (refreshed) Model S in the U.S. and Canada, taken from Tesla's own Model S owner's manual and service manual. Every Model S setup is staggered: the rear tires are wider than the fronts. This page does not cover 2012–2020 cars.

Before you buy: confirm the size, load index and speed rating on the Tire and Loading Information label on your door pillar. Your car's label is the final word.

Specs by wheel size

19" wheels

21" wheels

Wheel sizes, offsets and factory tire sizes are from Tesla's owner's manual. Tesla's current manual does not list load index or speed rating for these tires, so check the sidewall or door label.

Replacement tires Tesla lists for Model S

From Tesla's Model S service manual (North America). The "T" mark on the sidewall (T0, T1, T2) shows a Tesla-specified version. Tesla says most Tesla-approved tires are sold only through Tesla, so a store may stock the same model without the Tesla mark.

Continental ProContact RX (TS)

Tesla's 19" all-season pick for replacing any number of tires. Tesla describes it as its newest generation, with improved range. Tesla marks the Model S version "TS".

Pirelli P Zero 4 (T0)

Tesla's 19" summer pick. Tesla notes: not recommended for cold climates.

Goodyear Supercar 3R (T0)

Tesla lists this for Model S with the Track Package upgrade. Not recommended for cold climates.

Goodyear Eagle Sport (T0)

Tesla's 21" all-season pick. Tesla says it gives up to a 20-mile range improvement (EPA est.) compared to summer tires.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (T2)

Tesla's 21" summer pick. Not recommended for cold climates.

Tire pressure

Tesla's 2021+ Model S service manual does not print pressures. It says to use the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver-side door pillar, which is visible when the front door is open.
